PT. 2 Parts examination and test fittings

The first and easiest thing that can be done at this point is to affix the instrument panel decal to the cockpit bulkhead.

Careful attention is needed to affix the decal so the bottom holes align where the base attaches and also allowing for the cut outs in the bulkhead piece to align with the instruments decal for lighting later.

Second is the bulkhead doorway decal to affix to the doorway

 Now a test fit of the doorway into the bulkhead

A test fit of the passenger and pilot seats into the cockpit base

Upon inspection of the seats, the pilot seats are actually colored wrong. The pilot seats are actually a tan colored fabric.  So I will be painting and weathering the seats to accurately reflect the real Falcon.  The passenger seats need some painting as well, and weathering.  I also plan on painting the center console and weathering the entire cockpit.  Additional fiber optics will be put in the center, front and side consoles for extra realism.

And a test fit of the cockpit base into the cockpit bulkhead.
